What we do
We source and verify niche audiences — engineers, product managers, designers, data specialists, and power-users of specific products — the people generic panels never reach.
We handle screening, consent, scheduling, task delivery and payments — so participants have one clear, respectful point of contact.
Usage studies, UX interviews, concept testing and preference tests for teams building tech products.
For participants
Simple, transparent, and paid. Most studies take under an hour of your time.
We contact you directly, or you apply. We always tell you who we are and what the study is about.
A couple of short questions confirm you're a fit. No documents, no pressure.
A short, clearly explained task — for example a 20-minute survey, a quick interview, testing a prototype, or installing a study extension. You see exactly what's involved before you agree.
You're paid a fixed fee once the task is complete. Terms are agreed up front and in writing.
Trust & safety
Clear terms, fair pay, and full control over your data at every step. Here's exactly how we operate.
NEWHR Research is the research division of NEWHR, an established recruiting and research firm working with technology companies. You'll always know exactly who you're dealing with — named contacts and a signed agreement.
Participation is voluntary. You can ask questions, decline, or withdraw at any point — and request that we delete your data.
We process only what the study needs, under a written NDA and consent, in line with GDPR. Data is retained for a limited period and then deleted.
A fixed fee, agreed before you start and paid when you complete the task.
Companies commission competitive and product research without revealing their name up front — this is standard practice in the industry. We'll always be clear about what you're being asked to do.

What people say
"They reached an audience our internal panel simply couldn't — verified, active users, not survey farmers. The quality of participants was the difference."
"Clear scoping, honest funnel numbers, and they flagged risks instead of over-promising. Rare in a research vendor."
"I'm cautious about these things, but everything was explained up front and I was paid exactly as promised. Took about 40 minutes."
"Well-organised from start to finish — clear instructions, quick replies, and the payment landed exactly when they said. Easily the smoothest study I've taken part in."
FAQ
You can verify who we are and ask us anything before agreeing to take part. Everything is set out in a clear agreement with a fixed fee, and you have a named contact you can reach at any point.
It depends on the study — it might be a short survey, an interview, testing a prototype, or installing a study tool. Whatever the task, we explain exactly what's involved and what data it touches before you agree to anything.
A fixed fee is agreed in writing before you start, and paid once you complete the task. Payment method and timing are confirmed up front.
Only what a study needs: your contact and payment details — so we can reach you and pay you directly; and the study data itself (for example, product-usage data) — which is what we analyse. We use it only for the study, never for marketing, and we don't sell it or pass it on. After the study and your payment, we delete or anonymise your data; anything we're legally required to keep (such as payment records) is kept only for as long as the law requires.
Clients often commission research without disclosing their name — this is standard for competitive and product studies. We'll always be transparent about the task itself, even when the client stays anonymous.
Studies have their own criteria — often specific regions, roles, or tools. If you don't fit one study, we may reach out for another.
